K'oa Pele

K'oa Pele draws together K'oa, Hawaiian for coral, and Pele, the Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes and fire. Across this panoramic work, dark, pitted volcanic forms gather around a pale central stone, their surfaces alive with subtle reds, greens and yellows.
